No. Booster Pro applies frequencies optimized for facial muscles, so no special gel is required. Simply use it alongside your regular skincare products.

Q: What is the recommended order and frequency for using each mode?

Please make sure to check the recommended usage frequency before use, and adjust the frequency and duration according to your skin condition. Air Shot Mode: Use 2–3 times a week / 5 minutes per session Booster, MC, Derma Shot Modes: Use 1–3 times daily / 5–10 minutes per session Start with Air Shot on clean, dry skin before applying any skincare, then use Booster, MC, and Derma Shot with your regular skincare.

Q: How should I use skincare when using the booster, mc, and derma shot modes?

Absorb a light serum and ampoule in booster mode, then follow with a rich, viscous cream/gel formulation. After booster mode care, use mc mode and derma shot mode with the remaining amount on the skin without applying additional skincare. If the intensity feels too low, add additional product. *The above usage method is suggested for simple understanding. Find the method that suits you best while using it.

Q: Can all 4 modes be used around the eyes?

All four modes of Booster Pro can be used around the eyes, and we recommend using level 1 for areas with thin skin, such as around the eyes, nose, and mouth.

Q: It’s too bright even when I close my eyes. The LED seems to be too strong. Is this okay?

It may feel too bright, but it has no effect on your eyes and is safe to use. However, if there is a lot of product on the head and the central LED operates even without contact with the skin, be careful of direct eye exposure. For your comfort, you can turn off the LED through the app if needed.

Q: What is the principle behind each mode?

Booster Mode : Electroporation enhances the absorption of active ingredients by creating temporary microchannels in the skin using stabilized electrical pulses. These microscopic pathways allow skincare actives to penetrate deeper, helping boost overall glow and skin vitality. Air Shot Mode : Electric-needle technology creates micro-holes to improve pore elasticity. Using a unipolar system, it activates with just one point of contact, allowing for efficient care of wide-pored areas like the T-zone and U-zone. MC Mode : Microcurrents, similar to the body’s natural bioelectric signals, stimulate collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. This helps support a more volumized appearance and improved elasticity in areas prone to sagging, such as around the eyes and mouth. Derma Shot Mode : Mid-frequency EMS is optimized to target facial muscles that have lost firmness or tension. Q: Can I use it together with vitamin or retinol products?

The light that reacts with vitamin ingredients is ultraviolet (UV) light, which has wavelengths ranging from 10–400 nm. Considering this, Booster Pro uses visible light with different wavelengths, and since the shortest wavelength exceeds 400 nm, they do not affect vitamin ingredients and can be used together safely. However, depending on your skin condition, using the AGE-R device together with products containing retinol or vitamin ingredients may cause stronger irritation. We recommend first using the device with basic skincare products so your skin can gradually adapt to the stimulation. Afterward, when using products containing retinol (or vitamins), start from the lowest intensity level.

Q: Is it defective if there are scratches on the device head?

We used surgical steel, which is commonly used in medical devices such as scalpels and syringe needles, for the device head. While it is non-allergenic and rust-resistant, slight scratches may occur during the manufacturing or cleaning process due to the characteristics of surgical steel. The lines on the booster pro LED section are not scratches but marks formed during plastic production. It is safe to use and is not defective.
